It's a.....

Hannah will have a little sister later this fall!
Here is the latest ultrasound. If you have trouble deciphering, the baby takes up the whole picture. She's on her back looking up to the right. On the right of the photo is her hand. She's waving just like Hannah did in her picture.

Daddy and daughter hard at working putting together church choir folders.
A random 20 minute storm blew through last week. I heard a slight scraping on our deck and assumed it was Hannah's little swimming pool just being blown across. When we went in the kitchen for lunch I saw this in the backyard instead. Other than needing to cut it apart before it kills the grass, this is actually a good thing. We were worried this limb was going to take over the deck roof and now we have space!
If there is a garage sale in our neighborhood on Saturday morning we usually take a walk together to look around. Down the street someone was selling this puzzle of the UT (Knoxville) football championship game which we attended because we were in the marching band. We thought that was pretty cool to find in a random garage sale in Texas. Dax told the homeowner we went to Tennessee and might be the only ones to buy the puzzle thinking that might be of interest but she just smiled politely. Oh well! The funny thing is that if we were living in Tennessee we probably would never have given this puzzle a second look since this kind of thing is everywhere you look. That's how the brain works I guess. I'm sure we'll have a good time with it.

Summer so far

Hannah and buddies (Phoebe and Brenna). It's funny- when we go anywhere where other babies are present, Hannah goes wild for them, chatters, etc. But every time we actually arrange a play date all the babies ignore each other. We still have a good time though : )
This was her first time in a pool any bigger than an inch tall and she loved it. We even bought her her own large ball since she loved this blue one so much- spoiled spoiled!!
Hannah's arrived at the shoe phase. She loves to try on my shoes, especially these because they stay on her feet better than most.
More shoes!
Hannah in her gardening garb.
We cooked out some lovely steaks for father's day. We also got to watch Dax in his karate class Saturday. She loved watching him kick and punch but loved the table with crayons and markers even more. He tests for his 2nd black belt in July.

June Begins

Hannah with her new table set. We found this at a garage sale for $10! She feels like a big girl now. We also bought her a little boom box for her room since she has a small cd collection now.
First thing in the morning she points to it on the shelf and wants to press the blue play button. When the tinkly Baby Einstein music begins, so does her head-banging and other interesting dance moves.
My sisters and I each had one of these framed when we were younger. My mom bought this at our hometown fair and now all of our kids have them too.
Ready for church!
She likes to walk to the car all by herself now.
I found out there was a little park on Lake Lewisville near our house. After an unexpected off-road type experience (and the discovery that there was a paved way to get there too) we played by the water for awhile. My favorite thing in the world is to see these two holding hands and walking along happily.
You just can't recover from some bad hair days.
Can we say someone was extremely pleased with her yogurty dessert?
